Resonate Festival recommends a lecture and exhibition by FLORENS TO (Florence To), which creates its visual installations in interaction with electronic music and architecture!
Florens To will hold the lecture on Wednesday, April 19 at 11 am in Yugoslav Cinema Museum. The same evening from 6:30 pm will be an exhibition of this artist EOAN in Pro30r Gallery.
Florens To is a visual artist who designs and realizes visual installations that correlated with space and architecture. Upon graduation, the Glasgow School of Art and Design begins to create visual installations, working in an unconventionally space, tailoring each project to fit the place in which is located. Her classical music education enabled her to go further, collaborated with sound artists and tons of masters in commissioned projects and performances such as The Society of Arts and technology of Montreal and the 4DSOUND Institute in Budapest.
This artist continues to explore the effects of a public appearance through the act of creating a physical presence through the design of light, and the way differs sensor schedules can create an emotional and psychological impression int eh audience.
In the premises below the gallery at 7 pm, another exhibition will open- SIGNALS, whose authors are visual artists Nicolas Sassoon and Rick Silva, who will also hold a lecture at the Conference Program in Yugoslav Cinema. Signals of a unique video projection that covers a large screen inside the gallery space that is common in the work of both artists.
