22, 27, blue, afternoon is an exhibition of photographs in diptychs of young photographers by Stefan Jovanovic and Stasa Bukumirovic in which they deal with the relationship between space and body.
Stefan’s series of photographs explore artistic and spatial relationships. Each diptych is made up of one photograph on which the primary motive the man and one on which his absence presented. The relationship of both sides of the diptych gives a new whole with a unique ambiance and expressive art. Stefan Jovanovic was born on March 2, 1994, in Sombor and currently finishes New Art Media at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad.
The images of photography in this setting portray the sensitive period of transition from childhood to the adult world through the development of sexuality that is not what society represented it. It is an imagination of relationships that are both abstract and intuitive and precise, like the intimate living under the table, on the floor, behind the house, on the hidden staircase with someone we physically experience in our minds. About bodily empathy and the spiritual experience of the body. These feelings are sometimes abrasive and distancing, but generally make things in passing moments seem less damaging than earlier, allowed patterns. They are somewhere between the schematic representation of the sense of diminution, the testing of conventional values, and the attempt to experience our most sincere thoughts through any possible work. Stasa Bukumirović was born on March 16, 1989, in Pančevo; She completed her camera studies at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade.
The exhibition will be on display until February 10, 2017.
